Decorating and It Feels So Good

After just seven months of living in my apartment, I finally got around to hanging pictures on the wall over my couch. Apparently, finding interesting wooden frames for a non-douchey price is not as easy as one would think.

I popped into a thrift store in my neighborhood (that cavernous place on Driggs at N 7th) and found two wooden frames that suited me (and my poor, abandoned prints) quite well.

I'm planning on switching out the black frames as soon as I find replacements. And Mr. Wolf needs a mat like a kitten needs a monocle. (Read: very, very much.)

The Harry and the Potters glow-in-the-dark screenprint FINALLY sees the light of day over my kitchen table. Why yes, that IS a Dark Mark imprinted in the stars.

The other part of my animal portrait set is hanging out on my dresser until I can move him to the couch wall.

Who knows, I might even vacuum the floor soon. Sky's the limit.
